Desain Arsitektur Knowledge Management System Layanan Jasa Kalibrasi di UPT BPI LIPI dengan Menggunakan Soft System Methodology

ABSTRAK

Rentang usia para pegawai di UPT BPI LIPI relatif tidak seimbang. 71,42% dari para pegawainya telah berusia lebih dari 40 tahun dan 58,73% akan pensiun pada tahun 2015. Berdasarkan fakta tersebut, UPT BPI LIPI memerlukan Knowledge Management System (KMS) yang dapat menyimpan aset knowledge dari para pegawainya.Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) digunakan sebagai metoda untuk mengidentifikasi knowledge dan merancang desain arsitektur KMS yang tepat untuk UPT BPI LIPI. Ada lima tahapan dalam siklus knowledge management untuk proses layanan jasa kalibrasi di UPT BPI LIPI, yaitu knowledge acquisition, knowledge extraction, knowledge storage, knowledge sharing, dan knowledge update. Hasil dari SSM menunjukkan bahwa desain KMS yang dibuat dapat diaplikasikan untuk menciptakan knowledge, berbagi knowledge, merekam knowledge, menyimpan  knowledge, dan memanfaatkan knowledge, sehingga KMS mampu meningkatkan pelayanan jasa kalibrasi di UPT BPI LIPI.

ABSTRACT

The age range of UPT BPI LIPI employees is relatively unbalanced. 71,42% of the employees have alreadyexceeded 40 year’s old and 58,73% of them will be retiredin 2015. Based on these facts, UPT BPI LIPI needs a Knowledge Management System (KMS) that can store knowledge assets of the employees. Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) is used as a method to identify the knowledge and to develop the best architecture design of KMS for UPT BPI LIPI. There are five stages in the knowledge management cycle for calibration services in UPT BPI LIPI, namely knowledge acquisition, knowledge extraction, knowledge storage, knowledge sharing, and knowledge update. The result of SSM showed that KMS design can be applied to create knowledge, to share knowledge, to record knowledge, to store knowledge, and to reuse knowledge, so it can be optimize the calibration services in UPT BPI LIPI.
